Absolutely recommend working with Expat-tations! My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience working with Michael and his team while looking into obtaining the Panamanian Friendly Nations Visa program. My wife was fingerprinted seven times back in the States and never could get the FBI to accept her prints, due to her wrinkly fingers. We ended up coming to Panama anyway, without any way for her to get a Residencia. After 18 months with numerous border crossings (the costs really added up), we decided to give it another try and made plans to go to Miami. Luckily, we found Expat-Tations! They came to David to do her prints, were successful in getting good prints the first time, took care of submitting them on our behalf to the FBI, obtained apostilles, and delivered the final package to our Immigration attorney! All at a price well below what we would have paid going back to the States. And we didn't have to do any of the work! Their service is friendly, in English, and all around terrific!

I was referred to Michael and when I emailed him, he immediately responded and referred me to Luigi to handle my cedula renewal. (I had been emailing my original attorney for months with few responses) Luigi was professional, reassuring, worked with me in English and always responded quickly and thoroughly. I had limited time to accomplish this task as I live much of the time in Europe and he drove me to get the renewal and retrieve it later. He even helped me with a banking issue. I highly recommend them for the excellent and friendly customer service aspect.

This is a terrific service! A process that used to take weeks or even months and involved taking ink prints on special cards and mailing them, often to find out they were not acceptable, now takes 15 munutes using FBI-approved digital technology. Prints are scanned digitally and pre-checked. Report arrives to you from FBI in 24 hours. Sebastian is a great guy, friendly and smart and helpful at every step. They also handle apostilles and translations. A real God-send for all who need fast and reliable background check documents in Costa Rica.

5-Star Performance! My wife & I met Michael 7 weeks ago at a restaurant as we were interviewing companies to assist us with obtaining our pensionado residency. This past week, we completed the process and we now have our temporary cedulas! Michael told us how long it would take, and how much it would cost. He delivered exactly as he committed to. Sebastian came to me with the device to take fingerprints — after that I just followed updates on the steps of the process on their app. A few weeks later the FBI background check with apostille and translation were delivered.
